Singapore, March 5, 2024 – The Asia Pacific division of Travel + Leisure Co., the world’s leading membership and leisure travel company, has been named Best Overall Company Over 250 Employees at the 2024 GNEX Conference Vacation Industry Awards. In addition, Travel + Leisure Co. was awarded Best Interior Design for its Club Wyndham Asia suites at Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay. The company’s Asia Pacific legal team were also honoured with Best Legal Team, the seventh consecutive time the business or a team member has received the legal award.
Considered one of the highest honours in the hospitality industry, the GNEX Vacation Industry Awards recognise companies and individuals for their achievements within the vacation industry over the past year.
The Travel + Leisure Co. Asia Pacific division has been recognised for employee satisfaction and its commitment to diversity, with the Best Overall Place to Work accolade that builds on the company’s growing resume of workplace awards. The division (formerly known as Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific) was also named Best Place to Work by GNEX in 2019.
“We are honoured to receive these three GNEX Vacation Industry awards recognising our business culture and success, the properties we develop and our exceptional legal team,” said Barry Robinson, President & Managing Director International Operations, Travel + Leisure Co.
“This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and purpose-driven initiatives. We remain dedicated to upholding our core values and delivering exceptional experiences to our employees and customers alike.”
The Travel + Leisure Co. Asia Pacific operations comprise some 4,500 employees in nine countries and corporate offices in strategic locations such as Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, Jakarta, Clark in the Philippines, and the Gold Coast, Australia. The company oversees a vast portfolio of 87 hotels and resorts spanning 13 countries, along with three vacation clubs, Club Wyndham South Pacific, Club Wyndham Asia and Accor Vacation Club.
The company’s exceptional culture is rooted in its core value of delivering Hospitality with Heart, as reflected in its HEART principles: Hospitality, Engagement, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork. These values serve as the cornerstone of the company’s operations, guiding decision-making and nurturing a positive workplace culture.
“Our Hospitality with Heart service culture fuels the exceptional experiences we create for team members and our vacation owners, members and guests,” said Mr. Robinson.
