TOKYO, JAPAN (OCTOBER, 2021) – Wyndham Destinations, the world’s largest vacation ownership company, has announced an association between its Japan business and JALUX Inc. (Japan Airlines Subsidiary Company), where qualified prospective customers will receive JAL mileage points toward their travels.

As part of the association, one of the Wyndham Destinations products – membership of the new Innovative Holiday Club by Club Wyndham – will be available for purchase through JALUX’s website platform JAL Vacations from October, 2021.

“The Innovative Holiday Club vacation ownership product gives members usage rights at thousands of properties around the world including, as part of the membership currently, properties at 110 countries through exchange partner RCI,” said Senior Vice President of Sales, Kieran Mckenna.

“In addition, this award-winning product has a shorter term than traditional timeshare products and gives members the flexibility to have their levies waived for a year if they return their points to the club, making it a truly innovative and convenient product in the vacation ownership space.”

Members can stay at club resorts and affiliated resorts, many of which are located in South-East Asia, Hawaii, North America, Europe, Australia and at 16 properties in Japan. They also have a beneficial interest in the Innovative Holiday Club and may be entitled to a share of the net proceeds once the club term expires and its assets are sold.

Wyndham Destinations recently set up a Japanese subsidiary called Wyndham Destinations Japan and JALUX is its first marketing partner. Under the agreement, people who attend a sales presentation will receive 3,000 JAL miles to use towards future travels during the campaign period, which extends until January 10, 2022, at the present time.
