Mount Buller, Australia, 8 October 2026: Accor Vacation Club has completed its refurbishment of The Sebel Pinnacle Valley, giving the Victorian High Country resort a fresh new look just in time for spring, and setting the property up for another decade as one of the area’s most-loved retreats.

Tucked in the foothills 30 minutes from Mount Buller and 20 minutes from Mansfield, The Sebel Pinnacle Valley sits at the gateway to one of Australia’s great four-season playgrounds. Guests wake to skiing and snowboarding on Victoria’s premier slopes in winter, then swap ski boots for hiking boots come spring and summer, when the surrounding High Country opens up with cellar-door wine trails, horse riding, and national park trails made for hiking and cycling. Few resorts in the region offer such easy access to both a world-class snowfield and the wineries and wilderness that make the area a year-round destination.

That connection to place is central to the resort’s appeal, and to the local economy, with The Sebel Pinnacle Valley delivering more than 3,200 member stays last year alone, contributing an estimated $15 million in economic impact to Mount Buller and Mansfield. With the refurbishment now complete, the resort is poised to build on that momentum, welcoming a new season of skiers, cyclists and wine-trail wanderers to a resort that looks as good as the views surrounding it.

A Fresh Take on a Local Favourite

Every one of the resort’s 43 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments has been refreshed, staying true to the property’s beloved lodge-style character, while transforming it for the years ahead. New armchairs, bedside and standing lamps, curtain pelmets and a fresh coat of paint bring each apartment up to date, and every apartment now comes with its own coffee machine, so guests can start each morning with their coffee of choice before heading out to the slopes or the trails.

Behind the doors, refreshed bathrooms, balconies, decks, internal doors and window louvres round out the update.

Outside, the resort’s distinctive High Country architecture has been restored, including the feature roofing, barge boards and guttering that give the property its unmistakable alpine lodge character. The pool area has been transformed with new paving, shade sails and sun loungers, ready for guests to relax between adventures once the warmer months roll around.

As a well-established conferencing destination in the High Country, the resort’s meeting and events spaces have been outfitted with new tables and chairs, while Peaks Restaurant now features new furniture throughout, including balcony settings, dining tables and chairs, and a refreshed bar area.
