AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND (22 SEPTEMBER, 2026): Leading leisure travel company Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE:TNL) has expanded its presence in New Zealand after acquiring the management rights to, and apartments within, an Auckland CBD property currently operating as Barclay Suites Auckland.

The 112-apartment property occupies a prime location in the heart of Auckland’s CBD. Travel + Leisure Co. intends to refurbish the property as part of its repositioning and, upon completion, the apartments will join the Travel + Leisure Co. network of vacation club properties.

Located centrally in the CBD, the property is within walking distance of Sky Tower, the Auckland waterfront, Viaduct Harbour, and a diverse range of cafes, bars and restaurants. The property comprises fully self-contained one- and two-bedroom apartments with balconies, many offering views of the Auckland Harbour and city skyline. Full kitchens and in-suite laundry facilities make the property perfect for family travel and longer stays, a prevalent feature of vacation clubs developed by Travel + Leisure Co.

It will be the eighth property in New Zealand for the vacation club portfolio of Travel + Leisure, which also oversees more than 100 hotel, mixed-use and vacation club properties across Asia Pacific.
