GOLD COAST (SEPTEMBER 3, 2026): One of Australia’s leading vacation clubs, Accor Vacation Club, has announced the addition of two resorts to its portfolio – a move that underscores its ongoing popularity in a diverse travel market.

Originally conceived on the Gold Coast, Accor Vacation Club had a portfolio of 24 club resorts and close to 30,000 members when its development rights were acquired by Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE: TNL) in 2024. At the time, the leading leisure travel company committed to holistically growing the club, further enhancing member experiences, and placing renewed focus on portfolio expansion.

The club has now acquired apartments in both Mantra on View Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast and Mantra on Jolimont Melbourne, giving all Accor Vacation Club members access to a growing network of 26 resorts across Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia. Destinations include Sydney, the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, Coffs Harbour, Jindabyne in regional New South Wales, and Margaret River in Western Australia. Recently, the club also purchased additional apartments at Peppers Manly Beach, the Mercure Gold Coast, and Freshwater Point Resort Broadbeach – all of which are existing club properties.

The expansion of Accor Vacation Club in Australia follows last year’s launch of Asia-based vacation club, Accor Vacation Club Asia Pacific, as the brand continues to develop a regional network of aligned clubs under the globally recognised Accor brand.

According to Travel + Leisure Co. President and Managing Director, International Operations, Barry Robinson, vacation clubs continue to demonstrate strong popularity in today’s evolving travel landscape, even as loyalty programs and subscription services grow.

“As people place a greater priority on travel and look for ways to see the world with built-in value through ideas like loyalty programs and subscription services, vacation clubs are proving to be a timeless concept providing the consistency, branded experiences, and sense of community they seek,” said Barry Robinson, President and Managing Director, International Operations, Travel + Leisure Co.

“With a growing network of nine Accor Vacation Club sales sites in Asia Pacific, an expanding international network, and partnerships with Accor’s global portfolio and loyalty program, we see a strong and positive future for Accor Vacation Club. Our vision is to consistently grow our portfolio and member base, and to continue to deliver memorable member experiences every holiday,” he added.

New apartments will be refurbished prior to being made available for Accor Vacation Club members to stay.
