GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA (26 MAY, 2026) – The Asia Pacific team of Travel + Leisure Co., a leading leisure travel company employing more than 19,000 associates globally, has been recognised for excellence in culture, communication and sustainability, with three honours at the recent American Resort Development Association (ARDA) Awards.

ARDA is the peak body for vacation ownership in North America, which remains the largest vacation ownership market globally – meaning ARDA’s annual awards program is considered the industry’s biggest stage for achievement in the world.

Travel + Leisure Co. Senior Manager Talent Acquisition Asia Pacific, Layla Stoykovich, based in Port Macquarie, Australia, received the Talent Acquisition Professional award. She was recognised for strengthening the company’s talent pathways, pioneering leadership development programs, and curating seamless onboarding experiences for senior international appointments. She also manages a team supporting succession planning and internal mobility across the business, using workforce analytics, forecasting and personality assessment tools to inform hiring decisions.

Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay, managed by Travel + Leisure Co., received the Sustainability award in recognition of its environmental credentials. The resort was recently acknowledged with a five-star rating under the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Sustainable Tourism Acceleration Rating (STAR) initiative, aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The five-star property features a 6,000-square-metre organic garden producing herbs, spices, fruits, edible flowers and fresh eggs (laid by free-range chickens), used across the resort’s restaurants, spa, and Thai cooking classes. The resort team has implemented widespread energy and water efficiency measures and introduced EV cars for internal guest transfers, while consistently conducting beach clean-ups and mangrove planting initiatives.

“We are proud of the achievements of our colleagues on the international stage,” said Bruce Harkness, Senior Vice President Human Resources and Customer Experience. “These awards reflect our desire to deliver exceptional experiences to our club owners, members, guests and team members, while maintaining our leadership in the vacation ownership industry.”

The ARDA Awards recognise excellence in vacation ownership across categories including professional excellence, sales and marketing, product design, advertising, events and promotions.
