Pranburi, Thailand (11 February 2026) — Wyndham Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Villas has received the R5 Guarantee Award under the “R5 Guarantee to Global” initiative, organised by Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health in collaboration with the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The award recognises the resort’s strong commitment to quality, safety, and internationally aligned health and wellness standards.

Certificates of recognition were conferred on health product manufacturers and wellness establishments across eight provinces in Western Thailand that meet the rigorous R5 Guarantee standards. The “R5” designation refers to Health Region 5, which includes Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram, Phetchaburi, and Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Launched as part of Thailand’s Medical & Wellness Hub policy, the R5 Guarantee initiative aims to elevate local health and wellness products and services to globally recognised standards in a sustainable and responsible way.

In support of the R5 strategy to promote regional products, the resort integrates Health Region 5–certified items – such as locally sourced spa oils, herbal teas, and snacks – into the guest experience. This approach helps small and medium enterprises gain international exposure while celebrating the region’s unique identity.

The resort was also recognised for its “Wellcation” (Wellness + Vacation) initiative, which blends leisure travel with structured wellness activities including yoga, spa services, biking, etc. These offerings are supported by high medical hygiene standards, aligning with the government’s vision to position Health Region 5 as a leading Medical & Wellness Hub.

In addition, Wyndham Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Villas was acknowledged as a strong advocate of the Ministry of Public Health’s 3C Campaign, which focuses on Clean Bed, Clean Air, and Clean Food.
