WYNDHAM HOTEL MELBOURNE UNVEILS $3M CLUB ROOM REFURBISHMENT

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA (8 NOVEMBER, 2023) – Wyndham Hotel Melbourne, a leading luxury hotel located in the heart of the Victorian capital, has unveiled a highly anticipated AU$3 million refurbishment of 87 holiday club apartments and hotel common spaces.

The refurbished apartments are part of Club Wyndham South Pacific and are utilised by its close to 60,000 members – although they can be accessed by the general public when members choose to exchange their vacation credits for accommodation elsewhere.

The 87 apartments include studios, 1 and 2-bedroom standard and deluxe configurations, and stunning three-bedroom Grand and Presidential Suites, which have undergone a transformation to elevate the guest experience to new heights with modern aesthetics, vibrant colours, and locally inspired artwork.

In collaboration with renowned interior design firm BSPN, these apartments have been tastefully updated and feature a contemporary and revitalising colour palette of vibrant teal, coral, and sophisticated greys. Drawing inspiration from Melbourne’s famous laneway street art, the flooring pays homage to this urban expression and creates a visually captivating experience for guests. Meanwhile, the furniture was carefully curated to provide a modern and comfortable ambiance.

The artistic spirit of Melbourne is celebrated through the re-installation of mesmerising photo montages by local photographer David Simmonds. As part of the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, quality used beds have been offered to Soft Landing Mattress Recycling. Any surplus items have been generously donated to charitable organisations.
