Kirra Beach has a deep history within our company. This was Wyndham’s first purpose-built resort in Australia that was built and opened in 2002. On opening day 19 years ago our current Resort Manager, Debbie, was present all those years ago.

She is very proud of what she has seen within the resort and her team over the years and if you see here at Kirra there’s no doubt there’ll be a smile on her face to match her pride in the place. Our Kirra resort has stayed with the times and amongst comfortable rooms boasts many great facilities giving our guests access to Mini Golf, sauna, gym, BBQ area and pool area.

All of these facilities are nestled in one of the most idyllic locations in Queensland being positioned at the tail of Coolangatta’s world-renowned stretch of surf break. Access is also ideal with no more than two minutes’ drive from Gold Coast Airport and less than half an hour commute to other holiday destinations such as Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise and Burleigh Heads.

Rooms within have beautiful views of both these surf breaks on one side of the building and provides the perfect sunset view of the Gold Coast and Tweed hinterland on the other. Deluxe rooftop facilities are available to guests who stay in the resort’s deluxe suites which provide amazing views for the BBQ facilities, spa and luxurious seating which are perfect for ocean gazers and plane spotters both.
