Clark, Philippines (18 March 2026) – Travel + Leisure Co. has kicked off a four-month feeding program to help nourish 212 Aeta students at Sapang Uwak Elementary School in Porac, Pampanga, addressing a gap in nutrition for children from low-income families.

Many Aeta children at the school face daily hardships, often skipping meals or relying on instant noodles. This new program from Travel + Leisure Co. provides free, wholesome lunches for four months. Menus rotate through traditional Filipino dishes featuring chicken, pork, vegetables, and rice – ensuring balanced, culturally familiar meals.

“We believe strongly in giving back to the communities where we live and work,” said Liam Crawley, President of the Travel + Leisure Co. Service Centre in the Philippines. “This program will positively impact these students, fueling their learning, and helping them thrive.”

“The effort was sparked by a workplace fundraising campaign called ‘Fuel the Dream’ focused on advancing support for Indigenous peoples, driven by dedicated associates in the Philippines and Australia. We’re incredibly proud of these champions who go above and beyond their daily roles to support local communities here in the Philippines,” Crawley added.

Sapang Uwak Elementary School Principal Pennylane Roque expressed deep gratitude: “We are thankful for this meaningful partnership with Travel + Leisure Co. This program is a tremendous help, directly boosting our students’ focus and engagement in class – which is so important for their education now, as well as their success later in life.”

Travel + Leisure Co. employees joined school staff and parent volunteers to serve meals and spend time with students during the program’s launch. The initiative is part of Travel + Leisure Co.’s broader community outreach in Pampanga, including partnerships with the University of the Philippines Clark to provide school supplies and groceries to students.

Travel + Leisure Co. is a leading leisure travel company, providing more than six million vacations to travelers worldwide each year. With over 900 employees, its Clark office delivers operational, technical, and creative support to business units across the globe. MISSION BEACH, AUSTRALIA, 24 July 2025: Travel + Leisure Co. will begin a multi-million-dollar refurbishment of newly acquired property Club Wyndham Mission Beach as it becomes part of Club Wyndham South Pacific, one of the region’s leading vacation clubs.

The beachfront hotel’s 48 suites will be completely revamped by melporterdesign, with a design inspired by the natural beauty that defines Mission Beach: the vibrant marine life of the Great Barrier Reef, nearby Dunk Island, and the ancient UNESCO-listed Wet Tropics rainforest.

A fresh palette of aquamarine tones, coral-hued accents, and the crisp white of a surf break will set the mood for a refined yet relaxed escape for Club Wyndham South Pacific owners.

“We are not just refurbishing a resort, but elevating the guest experience,” said Warren Cullum, Senior Vice President Operations, Travel + Leisure Co. “This is a long-term investment in the future of Mission Beach, made on behalf of our close to 60,000 vacation owners, to ensure they enjoy the highest standards of comfort in one of the most stunning locations in the world.”

The new design vision will be carried across all 48 studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and loft-style apartments, with coral-inspired cushions, soft sandy textures, light timber finishes and open, breezy layouts, creating an environment that both soothes and uplifts. Common areas including the reception area, internal corridors, and gym will also be repainted and renovated in line with the new palette.

“We’re embracing the soul of this spectacular destination,” said Mel Porter, Founder and Creative Director of melporterdesign. “From the reef’s radiant blues to the warm orange corals and turquoise waters, our goal is to mirror the natural richness of Mission Beach in every space. Think flowing clean lines, natural materials, and spaces that breathe, offering guests a sensory escape from the everyday.”

This investment in quality and design is part of the Travel + Leisure Co. commitment to delivering exceptional stays for its Club Wyndham South Pacific owners across Australia and the South Pacific.

Coming alongside the $19 million Mission Beach Town Centre Revitalisation Project designed to establish the community as a coveted coastal retreat, this resort refurbishment will introduce more tourists to the wonders of the region. Club Wyndham resorts enjoy high occupancy year around and the refurbishment is expected to encourage more vacation owners to book – making the venture another example of Travel + Leisure Co. providing benefit to the communities where it operates.

Nestled between Cairns and Townsville, Mission Beach offers visitors direct access to the Great Barrier Reef, secluded beaches, and the World Heritage-listed Wet Tropics. From skydiving over the coast to hiking the Musgrave Trail, and from white-water rafting the Tully River to reef snorkelling without the crowds, the area promises an unforgettable escape for both thrill-seekers and those craving tranquillity.

With its enviable beachfront position, local charm and now a rejuvenated design, Club Wyndham Mission Beach is poised to become a premier destination in North Queensland’s tourism offering. The resort will remain open and operating throughout the renovation.

Pranburi, Thailand (10 April 2025)Wyndham Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Villas has strengthened its commitment to environmental sustainability by joining the Capability Enhancement Program for Green Hotels and Accommodations under the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) CF-Hotels platform.

Through this initiative, the resort measures its greenhouse gas emissions and implements targeted reduction strategies under the Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS). Using self-assessment through the CF-Hotels platform, the resort gathers baseline data that will be used to identify and apply solutions to align with its specific operations.

As part of its sustainability efforts, Wyndham Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Villas has introduced:

  • Energy-efficient upgrades – LED lighting and solar power integration
  • Waste reduction initiatives – Composting, recycling, and responsible waste management
  • Water conservation measures – Optimising water usage to reduce consumption
  • Eco-friendly guest experiences – Bicycle rentals to promote sustainable travel
  • Mangrove planting – Launching a mangrove planting project along the Pranburi River

“These initiatives position us as a leader in green hospitality in Thailand and align with our broader Wyndham Green program. The resort aims to have at least 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 from 2024 and at least 50% by 2050,” said Rodan Ivan, General Manager of Wyndham Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Villas.

Beyond environmental benefits, these sustainability efforts improve energy efficiency and resource management, leading to long-term cost savings. Given the resort’s 20-acre property, featuring a 1,250-square-metre infinity pool, spa, and multiple dining venues, these initiatives support both ecological and financial sustainability.

Programs like CF-Hotels help properties reduce the environmental impact that can be caused by tourism while providing a standardised framework for sustainable hospitality. This makes it easier for travellers to identify and support eco-conscious accommodations, fostering greater trust and accountability in responsible tourism.
